Is there, in France, a card service - debit or credit - that is not part of a bank account and has no annual charge does anyone know?

I have used Oney (Oney.fr) since the day this card arrived in France from the UK as EGG. Now bought out some time ago by the credit arm of Auchan and called Oney it is not a bank account, merely a card which can be used as a debit card and items paid for at the end of the month, or a credit card choosing how many months you want an item to be paid for. The form is a little extensive but do-able for most I think and there are different cards one can apply for.

I can't see anything on that website about a card that works that way. Have I missed it or do you have a more specific link please?

Is there, in France, a card service - debit or credit - that is not part of a bank account and has no annual charge does anyone know? You can purchase rechargeable debit cards at (maybe) the tabac, the shops that offer internet and telephone (fix line) services or search online for rechargeable debit cards France - translate the bold into french before the search. Some of these can be recharged over the internet or at bank machines.
Otherwise it depends on what you want to use it for. 1 purchase from 1 shop? Many purchases?
The big commercial enterprises will have their own "card" and credit limit(s) - ie. carrefour, leroy merlin, castorama, but, etc...
Not the same as "across the pond" or "on the island".

I have a Floa Bank Cdiscount card which costs 1.25 a month, but comes with various cashback offers etc, so not entirely free but useful, if you use it enough, obviously it can be free with the cashbacks etc, I saved 35 Euros on my first purchase with cdiscount so that paid for the card for a few years......

Is this any help, it does need some working out.

I want three extra cards, one for someone who buys things for me and one kept in each car for fuel (scrub out the cvv number and cut off a corner to disable the contactless aerial)
It annoys me that it is only in France one has to pay for a card.
I am an avid Apple Pay person. It is the safest way by far and I use it for everything right down to a cup of coffee and now, even the peages. However, outside of the States it is almost impossible to find a fuel pump that allows Apple Pay. Sure, all the newer pumps have the contactless pad, but all I use, it is disabled. Why?
Thanks for the suggestions - Oney sounds good and will pursue. A rechargeable card would work providing it would automatically call on a bank for funds to keep it fully charged.

My apologies - I always had it in mind that it was only France.
