Anyone watch the Cummings interview on BBC2 this evening. Very, very, very informative. Confirmed my opinions. Cummings is a scheming savage, and Bojo is but a hapless pawn in someone else's game.

Utterly condemned by his own mouth ably highlighted by the interviewer. A self-satisfied and self-obsessed puppet-master devoid of any democratic instinct, humility and humanity who almost makes me feel sympathy for BoJo.

Not quite sure where Harry and Meghan come into it.
I didn't watch the interview but I did read it. Cummings is a manipulative egoist who is just buying himself some cover. I do however think he's telling the truth about Johnson. Don't feel remotely sorry for Johnson. He employed Cummings...he turned a blind eye to his faults to use him to help him gain power. He can't be surprised if this is the result.

The last sentence of frantik’s post seems to sum up the characters of H and M as well.🤪

Yes I watched it all. I still think he is a total liar, and has no respect for anyone or anything. I can’t yet forgive him for the mad road trip, he didn’t clarify exactly what that was all about, was his life or that of his family threatened, and if so, by whom? On the plus side I agree with him about the state of democracy in UK, it has given me a lot to think about.

Some interesting bits but generally no more great revelations. I wouldn’t have thought the ratings of him, Boris as well as the government have changed much.

Apart from my comments in my OP I came away from that interview wondering just who the mysterious "others" are that were driving Brexit are hell bent on fundamentally changing the political system in UK. He referred to them a few times. L.K. asked him but he swerved the question. He said there would need to be radical change of Conservative policy or perhaps a brand new party that would destroy all others and get on with the job. The only consolation is that he made it clear Bojo the Incompetent would not be part of it.

I read an analysis of the interview and someone who has experience in people with Asperger’s syndrome identified that DC shows many of the symptoms. One of the facets of Aspergers is not being able to lie and also not be aware of the impact of what is said on the feelings of others. Johnson on the other hand has a track record of being economical with the truth.
