Still less than half. 4 35kg sacks and a demi cube of all in? 50€ 32€ 3 sacs and a 1/4 yesterday bricomarche. That probably represents about a tenth of what I've gone through since October so a mega saving for me. A free cement mixer and trellis effectively. I'm smiling at that realisation. Happy Thursday evening everybody.

I hope that's not the voice of experience Not at all. As you may have seen in the other thread I use washing up liquid. But... Hands that lay concrete Are still as rough as a badgers a*** With mild green Fairy Liquid.

Lots cheaper than divorce. Not if you use bags of readymix. BTW, the steel fixers played the concreters at football. The concreters won 2-0 on aggregate.

That'll be the day. As my structural engineering lecturer said, when explaining the high margins of error and safety factors involved in reformed concrete design, remember, many of these guys were in prison last week. You don't use shovels and wheelbarrows as units of measurement in an exact science.

I though peeing was for plaster not concrete. [ Calcium sulphate compounds rather than calcium oxide.} Someone on here was talking about it Could’ve been me mysty2. My late father in law was an ornamental plasterer by trade (specializing in churches) though he did plebs plastering too and he always had a jimmy in the mix pre application. He always carried a silk scarf in his toolkit which would be placed on to the plastered wall just to make sure it slid down smoothly to indicate a proper job.

Nooooo..what a waste! Pee on the compost heap, or, like the French, absolutely anywhere but in a loo
