The link comes up with a box (about cookies? or not using an ad blocker?) so I can't understand what is has to do with the immigrant boats.
I have asked the question before. I have a theory. Some scumbag Tory handed an exclusive contract to one of his mates. The mate receives all the boats and sends them back to France and sells them to the crooks for their next load of immigrants.

What's the connection between the "cross channel immigrant boats" thread title and a fake marina in the US?

They wished they had these boats to cross the channel and make it to the "holy land".... www.bbc.com/sport/live/formula1/58919797First practice on the link above.... Jealous a little? F1 owned by Americans and are going to take it to "across the pond" where there is much more money and opportunity...

You can tell by the number of topics here on the subject that F1 falls into the "I couldn't give a flying f***" category.

Murray Walker's faux pas, and unfortunate incidents were the only interest for most people with a pulse. When you get down to scraping paint off for an advantage, sport it ain't.

You should watch NASCAR then... LOL

My OP was really about how the USA can turn anything into a theme park, reality doesn't count. As for F1, well it had a certain engineering interest at one time, but now it's all about Hamilton's jewelry so I suppose a theme park fits.

Surely , to stop all these "illegal" channel crossings , the best way would be to buy up all the inflattable boats on the north coast of France? I am just a simple soul , with simple ideas.

How about just not selling them? Which the big retailers are already doing.. So it seems like your simple idea would have to be expanded further south.
