Would be nice but we were there for an hour. Parking is not cheap but there is free parking if you stop as you enter Salers ( not our forst time there) Lots of interesting shops cafes hotels and some lovely old stone buildings. That is carved stone at the top of the window.

I’ve just been watching a repeat of a Rick Stein programme and I think he was in that area, I thought I would like to visit one day, it appeared to be a very nice area, particularly if you like cheese.

It’s said to be one of the most beautiful villages in France. I love Salers cheese, and it’s also well known for It’s also famous for Salers cattle. The whole area is lovely - maybe another visit is needed, as it’s a long time since we were there.
