Those in the UK who want to visit France can now transfer their NHS vaccination proof onto the TousAntiCovid app. Link to the statement by the Consulate General of France: uk.ambafrance.org/NHS-COVID-Pass-now-accepted-in-France?fbclid=IwAR0_bDrTdur_URwkg2F5FmqrbGtEBJazGLBzOXdr14VMmw1KyYRazfbo3w8I added my record of vaccinations yesterday, went down the digital route, as I haven’t asked for a certificate yet. I used my NHS COVID Pass for travel abroad on the NHS app, the one you can use to order a repeat prescription, see your GP health record etc, not the NHS Covid-19 app that is used when entering restaurants etc. Quick and straightforward for a non-techy person such as me.

Yes Gigi
I might be wrong but it says in your consulate reference that atm one must use the NHS website as we do not want/need the app. as we are in France!
We registered yesterday and followed the digital route on that. It asked if it was for domestic use or for travelling abroad.
We took the domestic route (just for experiment) and got a pdf with the code and expiry date. The date apparently will be updated if one goes in again
For the need to travel abroad then there is another route to follow rather than the domestic route that says it requires further identification information and that might take up to a week. We did not follow that but I assume it will produce a similar pdf valid for a period that is updated if you log in again.
Hope this helps.
NB aint tried to get a french app as I aint got a smartphone. I normally have my OHs hand-me-down - but it broke some weeks ago and has not been replaced with a french one yet.
NB2 I understand that the one that is used for repeat prescriptions etc is the Patient Access site, not the NHS website described - please correct if I am wrong.

Yes, the date is updated each time you go into the website.
The NHS website for the pass, whether for domestic use or the TousAntiCovid pass is the one used for checking your NHS health record, for NHS test results, requesting prescriptions etc. The other is the NHS Covid-19 app for use when entering UK restaurants etc in case of being close to someone with Covid symptoms, when people get ‘pinged’.

OH got round to adding me to her smartphone.
Mild panic as she could not add me using her smartphone to take an image but solved when she took a photo of the digital thing on her notebook which she used for her entry rather than on my printout or laptop!
Just shows the need for modern (expensive?) technology. How do people cope?
NB computer view was good resolution when magnified but paper printout was cr.p i.e. not.
