I was rudely treated as a spammer when I tried to join two others, this is what they said - "No soup for you! It looks like you have been flagged as a spammer." In fact, both said the same, Way Down France and France in Focus, so they're probably run by the same people.
I had found the New French forum and was going to join them, but they shut, must have known I was coming!!
Complete France = Complete mess, layout wise, and that wallpaper! Yuk.
Now I've found this one and was allowed in, woohoo!
Have any others here found another forum they can join in with as well as this one, for example? No reason we shouldn't spread ourselves around a bit, different points of view make for interesting reading.

I registered on wdif and fif with relative ease, surprisingly. I used aliases which I'm sure eased my passage. I'll probably never post on either again in any case.

The only other one I have been part of is Survive France. It's very different from here in that it's a great deal bigger and has a different atmosphere. There is a lot of useful information on there and I think some of the members here may also be on that one. It depends what works for you. I don't deal well with social media at the best of times so am unsure why anyone would want to be part of several, but lots do so you are probably more "normal" than me seagoon

I'm registered on three French Forums and freely admit that I write differently on each one because of the membership make-up, whether that's a cop-out is for others to judge but life's too short to have continual arguments about stuff that is really not that important in the scale of things.

Can only agree .. forums can be incredibly different in tone, membership and content.

I can't really see the point in actively participating in more than one or two, some of us have a real life to live as well without coping with a virtual one to boot!

Exactly seagoon - I think that applies to most of us, to be honest!
