"Invented" by our son 40+ years ago on holiday in France. A croissant cut almost in two but leaving a "hinge". Then stuffed with two slices of lean, smoked, back bacon. Just enjoyed one each for today's breakfast. YUMMY!!!

Just a couple of times a month, full English, Home cured and smoked bacon, home made sausages, eggs, Haggis or Black pud, Potato skins, (from baked) then either a tin of Toms, Beans or Mushrooms, and sometimes some fried bread, set up for the day.

Christmas morning breakfast.
Smoked salmon, scrambled egg, mustard and dill sauce, nurnberger sausages and grilled bacon.
Sets you up for another year!
