I hope England win, but I won't be watching. Did get a chuckle from Alexa a few days ago when I asked if football was coming home, I wasn't actually expecting a reply, but the one I got was a surprise. If you have one, ask it.

From what I've seen so far the Italians are playing better than the English.

From what I've seen so far the Italians are playing better than the English. Definitely. Southgate resorted to the old England tactics second half of trying not to concede instead of going out to win. Italians look good.

Great tournament, best team won.
No idea why Mount started, by the time he went off it was too late. Southgate couldn’t resist going back to the old defensive set up when ahead instead of attacking.
Brilliant masterclass from the Italians, best team won by a mile.

My heart broke for Saka. He was inconsolable.

I very much hope that England wins, despite the booing and other nasty behaviour. The team seem to be a credit to their manager and the country. Is the way it’s gone OTT in England very different to how things are in Italy or how it would be in France - if their team had managed to win through to the final? I arrived in Boulogne about 40 minutes after France had won the 1998 World Cup. The streets were packed with pedestrians walking around sharing their good news. It was a slow drive to get out of the town. On the way through two separate groups suggested£ that I parked the car and joined in with their celebrations. I remember thinking at the time, I wonder if the tables were turned if a foreigner driving through Dover soon after England had won a major trophy would have received the same welcome.

Stopped watching at the end of normal time.
I feel Southgate just wasn't brave enough, he should have brought Grealish and Sancho on earlier, quite how you can expect players to take penalties without even touching the ball beforehand is also beyond me.
Italy were the better side overall though and Mancini got his tactics spot on.

I went to bed after extra time as I never watch the lottery of penalties.
Starting with an out of form Mount was an error for me as was not bringing on Grealish for ET. Thé late subs were a joke.
