It seems to me that shopping should start as early as possible. I was searching Aliexpress yesterday and as usual among the search results I get completely random items that bear no relation to the search criteria. This one tickled me.  |

One of the things that I've always loved about France and the French (up until about 5 years ago) was their refusal to acknowledge the existence of Christmas until December at the earliest. After being bombarded with ******* Christmas 'music' and decorations from late August onwards in the UK, just when the shops should be full of gardening stuff, I've come to hate the very word. Sadly, it's contagious and even the French are succumbing. FFS....life passes too quickly now anyway, without wishing half of the year away! |
