Can people suggest any online weather websites that are accurate more often than not? I have tried several but none seem to be much good for my particular location. Apart from wind direction it is pretty useless.

I tend to use meteo blue for my specific area and find it good. Radar , charts wind speed / direction, 7 day forecasts with regular updates. Worth a try.

We use Weathercrave.
I don't know that it is any more or less accurate than any other site. It certainly isn't always right, but neither is it always wrong.
Other than that I look up, feel the wind (or not) on my face, lick my finger and stick it in the air. Or consult the seaweed.

If you’re talking about French weather, I haven’t found a good one yet. The most accurate for me ? Probably La Chaîne Météo.

www.accuweather.com/They are good but like all the others it's not science If you put in your area you can check hourly whats going to happen.

Considering the amount of equipment available nowadays I think the level of weather forecasting is lamentable.

I use www.meteociel.fr/I generally find it reasonably accurate. Enter your commune half way down on the left hand side

Our farmer neighbours recommend meteo agricole. I follow that and when she hangs the washing out, to know it isn't going to rain.

Apart from wind direction it is pretty useless. Not sure where you are so I chose Guingamp at random. And then we go outside and look at the sky

I check three every morning and average them out, "Meteo France, Meteoblue and XCWeather" I also have a "Station Meteo" in the garden, so get all the information I need, not always right of course

The best I've found is stick your head out of the window, it works as a snap shot and isn't wrong, can change frequantly though.

www.yr.noYou can change the language from Norwegian to English. It happily forecasts for the smallest French village. My cave diving mates in the UK use it extensively for their weather forecasts and it is more accurate than the national forecasts seem to be. Since they have tinned air on their backs you may well ask why a reliable forecast is needed but put simply rainfall on the moors washes peat into the caves and visibility under water can go from good to nothing in minutes.

Thank you for that exile, have it on my computer in English for our village , looks good !
