Many thanks to all who have made suggestions above. I have bookmarked them all of them for appraisal, apart from Meteo Blue which I have already found next to useless at my particular location.

I used to use Météociel but they seemed to go through a bad patch, so switched to La Météo Agricole. A lot more accurate but they're driving me crazy with their attempts to get me to subscribe to the payable version. Will have a look at exile's suggestion..thank you!

www.yr.noYou can change the language from Norwegian to English. It happily forecasts for the smallest French village. My cave diving mates in the UK use it extensively for their weather forecasts and it is more accurate than the national forecasts seem to be. Since they have tinned air on their backs you may well ask why a reliable forecast is needed but put simply rainfall on the moors washes peat into the caves and visibility under water can go from good to nothing in minutes. Downloaded the app to my phone, seems pretty good so far, thanks for the link.

I check three every morning and average them out, "Meteo France, Meteoblue and XCWeather" I also have a "Station Meteo" in the garden, so get all the information I need, not always right of course Thank you Michael Fish ….. "Now don't worry there is no storm coming"
