Or what accents come to that? 
In Picardie they were called Déchetteries which is how I have always spelled the word.
Today going to the Deechy Tree I followed signs to the Déchèterie but when I got there there were two T's and no accent grave.
I decided to check on the website of the gestionnaire and they use both spellings on the same document

When I see things written different to how I believed I start panicking about how long I have been writing letters like a vache espagnole 
The first memorable one was having to look up cailloux in a dictionary after reading it thinking I did not know the word only to find that I did and had been spelling it cayou since forever 
Le Dictionnaire says 2, that's good enough for me. Same problème with the village name. Sometimes no accents at all, sometimes one acute and sometimes 2 acutes. There's no hope is there?
