What exactly has Meghan Markle ever done (apart from leaving a mostly disfunctional, stifling institution) that triggers such hate among mostly middle aged men? Same goes for Greta Thunberg.
I’m referring of course to his hate filled, misogynist column about her in The Sun. His own daughter was a victim of online bullying FGS.

I'd rather see Clarkson paraded naked and having sh@t thrown at him. I'm no fan of her but enough is enough.

I count myself proud to have been one of the 17000 and counting who have raise an official complaint through IPSO.
JC can be enlightening, JC can be entertaining but in this case he is neither. He is just nasty, very ,very nasty.
He is misogynistic and frankly I would like to see him paraded through each and every city of the the UK and EU (since he choses to hold property here) naked and be vilified with excrement thrown at him.
And for good measure asked to repent his sins in each and every language used as prime language in each and every city.

Clarkson's whole career has been based on taking the piss out of people but the older he's got the more nastier he's become, this latest unpleasant rant will likely see him taken down a peg or two by tv bosses and quite right too.
The thing I don't understand about H & M is what were they hoping to achieve with the documentary and his book, they will never destroy the institution and if they continue to slag off his brother and father the public will just see them as bitter and money grabbing (if they don't already).

I wonder sometimes if the attacks ,both ways, are not orchestrated to keep the government off the front pages.

What would have been your reaction had the article been written by a feminist about Nigel Farage or Boris Johnson?
I dislike Clarkson, understatement, but it's what he does and all the time people pay to view his utterings he will continue to push the envelope.
I have read worse on here many times.
I was pleased when he decked that producer, I naively thought it would be the end of his career, how wrong I was, it was (I believe) a deliberate move for the whole team to get out of their BBC (or was it CH4?) contract to make even more money.
I have read one of his books, I don't get a lot of choice and it was the bottom of the barrel, I won't be reading another, it was a compilation of his newspaper articles, with that as a background this article does not surprise me at all, the backlash certainly has and if that means he judged it wrong then tant mieux!

An overpaid, arrogant pig. I'm surprised he's not a Conservative minister.

You read a book 🧐 why if you want to know anything you can ask on here. Ats reads as well it does her eye in when she could be doing other things woman do.😁

I was watching The Crown on Netflix last night while OH went to collect his mother from Bordeaux (he won't watch it so it was a good opportunity). It was the episode about Mohamad al Fayyad and his attempts to be accepted by the Royal Family. I know the scripts are fiction but nevertheless it was remarkably believable.
The whole basis of the monarchy in relation to the commonwealth is racist and basically attempts to impose their culture over other cultures that are deemed inferior. If you delve deeper the whole concept of a monarchy, with a monarch that has no choice over what they do or say and are expected to do as they are told because it is their duty, is deeply abusive. Diana was effectively groomed as a child to be Charles' handmaiden and not expected to have any opinions or beliefs of her own. She fought against it..Harry and Meghan have too and that in itself rocks the establishment and upsets those with the most to loose from a hierarchy that favours white males, of which Jeremy Clarkson is one.

Actually, we had a much loved Queen for the longest period. Hardly a male hierarchy.
With Mrs Markle there has been a clash of cultures, between the Royal Keep Quiet and Solve Problems in the Family and the American Let it all Hang Out, Public Acclaim by Insinuation. I feel sorry for Harry in all this.
