Personally , I think the longer that the UK is outside the EU , the worse the situation in the UK will get. As I have said previously , we have had no change in our lives due to Brexit , but many British people have. It is really the least of our worries at the moment, the expanding war is more important. Once again however the UK population doesn't seem to realise what is important.

‘ And they think if they repeat this mantra often enough, people will believe it.‘ I can’t quite think of the best fitting words for this. Alternately to PRT’s views, rejoining the EU might mean that the majority benefit instead of the members of the 1% club. Brexit was always about the 1% club, and they managed to fool the people into believing it was for them………….

I think the average uneducated Brit doesn't care about Brexit or politics, so long as the TV works, they can fly to their holidsys and macdonalds stays open. It's quite incredible that they are allowed to vote for anything really.

Can I respectively remind posters they could very well be talking about family members of other posters And 52% of the voting population, 6 years on and still one out of two people are being called names like knuckle draggers, racists, usefull idiots and all the other nastiness.
I agree with what Cernunnos says and would express it in a slightly different way, there should be far more important things to be concerned with at present than insulting half of the people from their country of birth for a percieved injustice of 6 years ago.

It's easy to blame the electorate for the referendum result but the 'Yes' campaign have a lot to answer for, they focused on the doom and gloom of leaving the EU rather than the positive benefits of staying in.
The other thing that people ignore is that the Brexit deal itself was an absolute disaster for the UK and thrown together at the last minute to avoid a cliff edge 'no deal' scenario, the EU always held all the trump cards but a better trading arrangement could have been agreed were it not for the wrangling within the Tory party.

Repeated misinformation messages never works on people with any critical thinking.

The only people to blame are the liars running the country. We will have all the benifits of Brexit without paying anything into the EU. There are no benifits and the so called great free deals they could do with poor third world countries could still have been done while in the EU.

Though, the bankers would have to open their books for inspection. That is what some of the louder voices were afraid of. so, they came up with a cunning plan involving misinformation rather than coming clean.

Can I respectively remind posters they could very well be talking about family members of other posters I am actually talking about our own family members , both my wifes daughters and their families voted for brexit , but I don't call them names for doing so . Badly advised and ignorant of the benefits of being in the EU .

Nothing wrong with being an idiot. It is just that allowing then a vote can be highly detrimental to the public at large.
