A meal without wine? Must admit the words 'Buck's Fizz' drifted through my mind (I've read about it....)

I found three of these old bar glasses in a market up in Brittany a few years ago. It fits into my hand as if made to measure.. When I took this photo, it just summed up Saturday lunchtime on a hot summer's day. I'm no glass snob, or wine snob or any other kind of snob - but just as tea tastes better in a china cup, so a decent glass can improve the wine served in it. We rarely drink during the week - but Fri => Sun? Game on! What time is it? Usually start with an attitude adjuster aka scotch and water - then a glass of the red infuriator.. Nutty

We've really cutback our alcohol consumption over the last couple of years and rarely have wine with our main meal unless we're entertaining, it does mean that we actually enjoy the taste more when we do have it.
