When I started the forum, the original version was New Member, Junior Member (after 50 posts), Full Member (after 100 posts), Senior Member (after 250 posts), and God (after 500 posts). Had I not changed it back in the beginning, that's what would be the ranking system now and nobody would have questioned it, so why the hell are people whinging now because I changed it to something else? We don't need a heirarchy FFS - it smacks of privilege, eliteism and entitlement - Why rank us - surely we are all equal and have the right to contribute as equals - not whinging just stating my opinion as a member of this Forum. |

Probably because it was just part of the furniture & folk were so happy to have a new home, nobody took much notice of it. Now you've drawn attention to it most folk seem to think it's superfluous so it appears you're a victim of your own changes.
I don't see anybody 'whinging' unless having an opinion is now considered that. Edit. posted before I saw above post.

Under each person's post I can see the number of posts they have made so what earthly purpose does a star rating bring?
Surely what is important is the quality of posts not the quantity. Neither a star nor an absolute number tells me that, Only experience.

Having games on here that not everyone participates in makes ranking pretty meaningless anyway. The high ranking people will be those who play the games.

I see that someone has mentioned Country Members and that Games are now prominent. Thus, Country Matters, Fun and Games…..! Could we not have a rank by size, thus Big Member, Small Member, and for non posters, Flaccid Members. Ladies, please invent your own ranking from Volcanic to Bored or Starving…….! For others sexes or for those who change by the hour, maybe a neutral temperature chart or a swingometer
Seriously though,I reiterate we dont need it. Number of posts is quite enough.🙀👃🏻😤🤪

Could we not have a rank by size, thus Big Member, Small Member, and for non posters, Flaccid Members. Ladies, please invent your own ranking from Volcanic to Bored or Starving…….! For others sexes or for those who change by the hour, maybe a neutral temperature chart or a swingometer Seriously though,I reiterate we dont need it. Number of posts is quite enough.🙀👃🏻😤🤪 I can think of a few rankings based on some of the personalities on here but probably best not too....   |
