First time in 18 years, every other saucisse has been infinitely better than what I was conditioned to accept in the UK, saucisse de Toulouse are superb. I suppose if you had ordered an andouillette without knowing what it was it could put you off, I love them but can only eat them if my nose is pegged, otherwise I gag , I have no problem with Tripes à la mode de Caen though, they dont have the same smell.

Netto labelled stuff appears in Inter from time to time and I have seen Netto lorries deliveries also.........Inter's Jean Roze brand merguez were going cheap today as they were close to use by date so muggins here bought some. Now I have no idea what to do with them so they are now in the freezer. I cooked them today with haricots blancs, tomatoes, peppers, mustard and Worcestershire sauce, a recipe I found on the beeb good food site. Not bad which is lucky , as I have enough for several days, and I don't fancy freezing it. PS; I quite like Andouillette but I really do wish that I had never looked them up on wiki and seen that they were made of....

I suppose that would be washed down with a glass or two of Saucy Cuvée Nue Sans Brut Nature and perhaps rounded off with dog-turd and tonic chasers.
Anyway, let’s have a look at the Wensleydale then.
