I knew someone that lived near Chester Zoo, he collected the dung for his garden, they were glad to give it away.

I used to work at a safari park. My uncle suggested to me that I should collect
various stools and put them in fancy glass jars and market them.
That would have been fine with rabbits or goats etc but I couldn’t find any suitable containers to accommodate
elephant droppings and the chimps made this difficult for me so I gave the idea a miss.

Not with the chimps.
Mast of theirs ended up as something like brownish sticky chewing gum that they smeared over the large observation window of the day pen with their lips. The day pen was annexed to their sleeping quarters and main pen.
