Reading through the mail you rec'd it smacks to me of Spam.
There are small errors in the text .. punctuation, grammar etc.
But I am only 1 voice.
See what others say.

If you hover your mouse over the "click here", somewhere on the screen, you should see a small box which tells you where you will go if you click. For me with W10 and Edge the box appear bottom left of the screen. Obviously any address other than a microsoft one will confirm that it is spam.

I thought that the heading ‘ Unusual sign.in activity’ was unusual.
If I hover cursor over click here, a small box appears at bottom of screen ‘mail to:unusualactivity@recognised-sec.com?&cc=unusual.activity@recognised-sec.com&Subject=Unsubscribe+me ‘
I am wondering if I should use the blue Report The User button/link provided or not.
I wonder what am I supposed to be unsubscribed to?

Thanks exile. Is it worth reporting this to Microsoft or anybody by other means?

I very much doubt whether they can keep up with the millions of eedjits that do that every day.
I get 20 or more E-mails like that every day, once in a while one comes claiming to be from an institution that I do deal with at a time when I might be expecting something, you have to be vigilant especially at times when transferring funds etc, they might just get lucky.
By far the most I get are those saying that my 2 website addresses are about to expire and to make a payment for the next year etc or that my E-mail inbox is full and will be deleted if I dont pay some money.

The Junk folder should be called Pandora’s Box. I would ignore it completely, but, every now and again I find bona fide messages from people not on safe senders list.

Chronopost legitimate posts always now end up in my spam folder and I cannot even recategorize them as authentic.
