Anyone heard about these chez-vous? Ours are arranged for next Wednesday. So far they are only being done in pharmacies apart from people in care homes and those needing home visits. No pharmacies near us sre involved yet, so we chose a pharmacy in a nearby village where there’s a café that does very good food and a branch of Waitrose. 😃

Our last booster (4th injection) was in December and done at the pharmacy. I don't think there are any plans currently for a fifth except for certain vulnerable groups.

Around here the whole operation seems to have been very much scaled down. We had our first jabs at a hospital, the second at the mairie, the third at a salle des fetes and the fourth booked via the pharmacy, at the local health centre. The last could only be done between 8 and 9.30am. Biggles is going through a very bad patch (as yet pre-diagnosis for polymyalgia rheumatica) and there's no way he could get there so early in the morning when his symptoms are at their worst.

That occurred to me yesterday, just after we'd left our doctor's surgery! I have to go to the pharmacy now so I shall ask there.

So you don't fit in any of the categories in my attachment? We almost had a struggle convincing the pharmacienne that we were eligible for the fourth in December, but she relented in the end. As long as they think you need it, I think you can get it.

I don't want Covid but, equally, I am not keen to have any more 'doses' unless I really have to as I react so badly each time.

pcpa 'I cant recall the last time I saw someone wering a msque and that includes in hospital, 2 ophtalmo clniques and pharmacies.' You haven't seen me about and about then!! It's rare that I see anyone else in the local supermarket wearing a mask but when I was last at a hospital masks were definitely obligatory, as they are still in our pharmacy. We saw our doctor yesterday and I remarked it was the first time we had seen her face for 4 years! She blushed deeply. But I had seen her mask on her desk and she'd had a very urgent case in immediately before us (a young woman with several children who was then waiting for an ambulance to arrive). I suspect madame took her mask off during that difficult consultation.

That could be down to your eye sight and please take that as a sort of joke not that having bad eye sight is a joke. Plenty of people still wearing masks including dentists, doctors and plenty of older people. We sat inside in a cafe for the first time since covid started today as it so happens saw no one in a mask but have seen plenty in other places.

I didnt say it wasn't happening, I said I cannot recall the last time i saw wsomeone doing so, ceratinly at the places I mentioned nobody has for a couple of months now.
At the ophtalmos it was dropped last year but came back in again during a peak earlier in the year which caught me out. Since that has been removed I really havn't seen anyone.
I have a few pictures taken last summer during la fete de la musiqe where the tiny streets were rammed solid and not a single masque in view anywhare.
I may not be able to read text at presnt but I can see whan someone is wearing a masque, I aso cannot hear them as they usuamly mumbe and I lip read.
