Should an imported 2012 Vauxhall Vivaro require a Certificate of Conformity to be re-registered in France as it's a Renault Trafic built in the UK?
VM UK were very unhelpful until an email to the MD brought a reply within an hour. They said contact Renault France who then passed it on to Opel France who will supply a CoC for €200.
Edit: It's ANTs requiring the CoC.

From my limited experience of a few years ago, it all sounds about right to me. However check the back of the service log, you might get lucky.

All UK cars and vans need a COC now I met a newbie brit here having a nightmare trying to register an inveco truck. He has spent 700 so far and is about to give up. 200 is a bargain. Have you checked the hand book sometimes it can have the coc inside it.

Yes All UK cars and vans need a COC now They always did, €200 is a bargain, I recall someone failing completely to convince DRIRE that their Vauxhall was really an Opel. My vehicle variant was not sold in France, its only the trim and options that were different, the base vehicle is identical, nonetheless the "Outdoor" version was not recognised despite me having a COC from VAG Europe, as a consequence it is registered as the French version (cant recall the name) which had a 5 speed gearbox not 6 and was rated 1cv higher as a consequence costing more to register and insure, I knew better than to argue. If the CoC is coming from Opel France you will have no problem and €200 is the going rate.
