What width are those parpaing? I have never laid any less than 15cm.
I see you are going to do a ceinture en beton, armé I hope, what about the chainage verticale?
Can you actually get parpaing chainage in 5cm or 10cm?
10cm blocks, cheaper lighter than the 20cm ones, use less sand cement and lime and there is more concrete and wire holding it together than there is blocks. The house itself is just built of stone, dirt and lime and its still standing after 80 odd years and anything I do comes with a ten year guarantee.

Excuse me , but , not a " real artisan " The photos don't lie Oh yes they do. Those supports are vertical and the camera has distorted the view.

And a happy Sunday to all the stone building followers 10 hours today got the front and side almost finished if we had got up earlier we could have done 12 hours. The front pillars come down tomorrow, tip of the day is a clear work space is a safe place.

Some of the old pillars have gone, the last two will be cut off this week when I pick up some more timber I need. Concrete ring around the top stone and windows fitted today.

Major work Mysty. More a veranda than a porch. Make my porch work look feeble compared to this.

So today the final two pillars came down hopefully cut off the extra meter of roof tomorrow. The space between the windows and the outside wall have a lump of wood which will be left exsposed when it has a lime render on the cement thats what they did years ago. The front door is now operational and window has gone.

Early start today and got the side wall finished until the roof comes off. The neighbours 150m away got an early morning loud bang as the last section of the front roof came down in one section.

That'll look super when finished 👌 Hope so, it's been hard work just another few days to go to get the structure finished.

Rain and other work has held us up but got the stonework almost finished today. Roof comes off next week then it's pointing time.
