They’re probably a lot more who just won’t say it out loud as that proves they were idiots and nobody likes to think that about themselves.

Accusing the population of being idiots because they do not share your views is a little disingenuous, n’est ce pas. How about trying to understand the roots of Brexit instead and perhaps why there are other countries within the EU which are unsettled in their membership?

I think traveller mean suckers who implicitly believe all that they read in the likes of The Daily Express Mail etc and get spooked by posters posted in selected spots warning about the 73 million Turks that are queuing to steal British jobs or claim Benefit and live the live of luxury in selected hotels etc. etc.

That is a fear real or imagined shared by many more Europeans that one is allowed to know about.

The only idiots are the remoaners who 7 years on will not accept a democratic vote “Cos it’s not fair” How can the so-called democratic vote be valid if the information given to the non-thinking populace was a tissue of lies and misinformation. The referendum was only an "advisory" and should never have been acted upon. Certain individuals and lobbyist groups had a lot to gain by leaving, and a lot to lose if the soon to be implemented financial regulations within the EU were applied.

The old friends from UK who were staying with us recently are disappointed. They don't feel that Brexit was ever properly accomplished. It certainly didn't deliver the improvements in the quality of life that they were expecting. They're far from being stupid, but perhaps a tad naive to have believed any promises made by politicians.

Boris, if nothing else is a convincing liar, along with many of the other pro Brexiteers. The line, apart from the famous ‘bus’ promise to annoy me was from Jacob Rees Fogg who declared that the full benefits of Brexit would take about sixty years to come to fruition.

Brexit is a great success for those that have profited from it , that is why they " sold " it to the punters as though it would be great for everyone. A lot believed the lies.

Question time tonight on BBC is about Brexit and the audience is based on people that voted to leave. It should be interesting...

Britons who want to rejoin EU at highest levels since 2016, survey finds......
Data showed 58% would vote to re-enter bloc, while more respondents said they trusted the European Commission more than the UK government
Seven years after the Brexit referendum, the proportion of Britons who want to rejoin the EU has climbed to its highest levels since 2016, according to a new survey.

Errrr the vote was 7 years ago. Bit late now. But But please miss “it’s not fair”. I would suggest those wanting to join the EU do so…. By moving there permanently.
