No I can't. I wiki'd it when we returned to read about its history - and there it was - the world's largest brick building. Do you have another contender? Nutty

Nutty When I googled there were more than one, depending on if you're talking about floor space, height, tonnage etc. Just wondered which category. Don't mean to annoy. Sorry.

You didn't annoy - sorry if my reply came across as terse.. It's a very valid question you asked.. but I was just parroting out what it said in Wiki.. I'd always assumed that Albi cathedral was a modern (19th- 20th century) construct.. but I was astonished to learn that building started around 1280.. We walked in expecting to see yet more bricks but all the interior surfaces had been plastered and painted. Never seen anything quite like it. Nutty

It doesn't look like it came from medieval times.. there's something modern about it. And those old brickies knew what they were doing..

A very strange year ajm. Portsmouth beat Cardiff City in 2008. I have several friends who support Portsmouth but they seemed to know that their team was in for a tough time afterwards. Portsmouth spiralled downwards though those supporters stayed loyal. P and O pulled out of Portsmouth around then but at least BF have kept going.

I’ve been thinking about it all morning whilst cleaning out the garage. Was it Wigan by any chance ? Did they beat Man U in about 2003 ish ?

(Seems longer ago). City were challenging for top of the league and Wigan had only won a handful of games. What a turnup.
