Several weeks of peace and quiet and they’ve re-started. Several calls this week on treatment for the barn, roofs etc. The other phone call menace we received recently is that they ask you if you’ve received their email, if not they want your email address. I think this gets round the restrictions on cold calling because they are only asking if you’ve received their email!

If it's really bad, there's an excellent fixed phone by Panasonic that automatically blocks any number not entered in it's repertoire. It's been a life-changer for us

It you are stuck for something to do, I have seen several scripts on how to wind callers up - assuming that you are conversing with a hunan..

Yes, Government sponsored and both Pactel and Bloctel actually created more cold calls than ever. It was discovered that they use the subscriber lists to promote all the Gov schemes i.e. insulation, heat pumps and now solar panels. Total waste of time from the particuliers point of view.
