Picked up on FB feed
Remember tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule (aka... new name META) where they can use your pics. Dont forget the deadline is today!!! I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, messages or publications, past and future. With this statement, I notify Facebook that it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The violation of privacy can be punished by law You can copy and paste this version if you prefer. If you do not publish a statement at least once it will be tacitly allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in your profile and status updates. DO NOT SHARE. Copy And Paste. Here's how to proceed: Hold your finger anywhere in this message and "copy" will appear. Click on "Copy". Then go to your page, create a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. 'Paste' will pop up and click Paste. This will bypass the system.... One who does nothing agrees apparently.

Sadly, I doubt if many people give a damn who gets access to their personal data.
Scenario: Some cretin uses the new Chat GP whatever software to scan your hacked personal data & photos and create a ficticious identity using your details to open accounts, etc. A potential nightmare.
A few years ago the Fartbook privacy issue was much in the news and people were warned that they had the right to purge their personal data and place controls that would stop any further collection. Later reports announced that a not very high percentage of people responded.

Whilst not disagreeing with the general message from the Forbes report. Point 1 - the language used is poor - does not hold water. Just because a person does not have Oxford standard English at their command, does not mean that the message is necessarily incorrect. If it were from a company then yes, it would be a red flag, but as a post from an individual providing information, then no, in itself this is not a red flag. Many posts here, including my own*, contain grammatical or spelling errors. Are we to ignore all of the useful posts here?
* They point to the misuse of a capital letter, something I frequently do, having been in Germany for a number of years, where all nouns start with a capital/.
