Obviously I still have not explained very well the correct procedure for sending La Poste Recommandée to the UK. When you post it in France you will have a tracking number which you can use to track your delivery until it leaves France. When it arrives in the UK it will automatically be linked into the Royal Mail tracking system. If you then enter your French issued tracking number into the Royal Mail tracking system you can then see when it is delivered, who signed for it and get a picture (online) of the signature of the person that signed for it. Despite the disaster of Brexit the integration does work very well. All the La Poste tracking will tell is that it has been delivered, it cannot give you the name and signature details. Well, I'm pleased to say my pension was reinstated pretty quickly once the form was received.
