We officially left France at the end of June and had very little income in 2023 as we closed our business on the 31st of December 2022. Is there a maximum amount you can earn before having to make a declaration?
TIA.

With some friends who left France for the UK they found it was worth completing the relevant declaration just to legally tie up any loose ends .. as it confirms your new address as well as confirming any income that was made whilst still in France. Our friends had no tax to pay and received no more tax forms after that .. yes, they had insisted on paper forms 😊.

I fully intend to complete the declaration as we have UK rental income but I also did a few final jobs for some clients early in the year so am not sure whether these payments need to be declared, we're only talking about a couple of thousand.

Resident in France until end of June?

My understanding is that the only income the Impots are interested in are those whilst we were tax resident in France plus any French income since we left.
