I was thinking that in the bleds of France the controls might be less stringent, but perhaps I was wrong.

Nhs qr load works for England Wales and N Ireland. This new service will be useful for people vaccinated in Scotland- they do not have qr codes on their paper certificates

Health pass required in Aubeterre sur Drone, Charente on Monday to eat lunch in the outside square, but not in the underground monoglithic church where there were more than 50 people wandering around.

Went to L'Aigle Orne for the market It was the biggest one since before last years lockdown Clothes shoes etc as well as the usual fruit and veg I had expected barriers and identity checks but only masks required inside towns limits no gendarme in sight Went on to the large Intermarche and stopped for coffee I had my pass on the table ready to show but it was studiously ignored they did not check anyone else either Intermarche and Aldi had the machines to flash your pass at but they were not in use
Just as well no gendarmes as for the first time since lockdown I had left my identity bits at home Panicked lovely on the way home till I found them on the table safe and sound

Better those who choose to enforce it get used to asking for it before the obligation comes in.

If the quote function worked correctly and only the part of limousinlady's posting that I had highlighted had appeared in the reply box, "but not in the underground monoglithic [ sic] church," it would have saved you the bother of an apparently unnecessary response.

The quote function works just fine, it's not complicated to edit out words that you don't want quoted.

Health pass was checked at a restaurant on Tuesday. It was our first experience of dining out in 11 months.
However a large local restaurant didn’t check anyone on Wednesday. Given how young the waiting staff were I was concerned as they may not have been vaccinated. Fortunately our table was away from others and there was a good breeze. Restaurant booked for Sunday has already asked if we have the health pass so it’ll be interesting to see if it’s also checked.

Our pass was checked Thursday at a local resto. Ours are laminated because we don't have smart phones. There was a slight problem, maybe caused by the plastic, but it scanned eventually.

We visited two bars and then a restaurant last night and our PS was checked at all three places which was good to see, at the second bar they even turned someone away who didn't have one. Mask wearing though was poor even though it's obligatory in our little town.

A question please - is the PS/QR code a passive thing only, ie when scanned at a restaurant, it just shows the owner that the vistor has had two jabs and is ok? Does it then go to a big database anywhere?
A French person I know managed to lose his wallet that has id card and the paper QR code amongst other things. OK, he notifies Ameli and I guess they could send him a new QR code - but what about the old one, could someone continue using it until they were challenged for ID as well?
Interesting one as I am sure this will happen time and again...

I have uploaded our Covid Passes onto my phone but was surprised that all one can actually "see" (oneself) is the QR code and your name (slightly more if border crossing switched on). I had assumed that the whole certificate was "seeable" by me! Much easier to do than I expected. I shall keep my paper version as a friend was in a queue and the chap in front had a problem with the café owner not being able to read his phone version so he ended up showing the paper one.
