Both got health issues, just as well they were not French they might not have been able to find a doctor. I'm no royalist but im sure we all wish them well. Her surgery sounds serious not sure about the king, what does one do about an enlarged prostate and how do you know if it's enlarged other than you have issues peeing.

We don't have doctor problems. Prostate problems usually found with a scan.

A simple check up every year will show if you have an enlarged prostate If it is benign then it can be shrunk , if not radiation or removal.

We don't have doctor problems. Prostate problems usually found with a scan. In our nearest town Saint Amand Montrond if you are not already registered with a doctor or dentist who cannot get an appointment and there not taking on new clients. We travel 2 and half hours for any dental work and unless it's am emergency you have a couple of months wait for an appointment.

Not getting a very good reception on social media despite the Daily Fail urging everyone to pray for them 😳. Lots of comments from people experiencing the woeful inadequacies of the NHS i.e having to wait years for prostate op. The comparison with the Royals is highlighting how poor healthcare and aftercare/support is for most of the UK population and not going down well….

If only the current bunch of cowboys masquerading as a government would put as much time, effort and money into public services as they have into the stupid distraction of the Rwanda fiasco then maybe not only the royals could get their operations.
I've no problem with wealthy people accessing private health are. That's 2 fewer people on the 7.9 million NHS waiting list.

Plenty of money in the NHS but it is spent very badly.

Plenty of money in the NHS but it is spent very badly. So that’s the problem then? Yes, there probably is badly spent money, as with most large organisations but thats not the whole picture, just the one the govt want you to believe in. How about the govt limiting doctor training numbers when more are desperately needed?

Plenty of money in the NHS but it is spent very badly. Agreed. If only there were a government in charge for a long period - let's say 14 years - that was competent (or, at the very least, not totally incompetent) to manage and reform the NHS so that its resources were used more efficiently.
