Did ask on another but will ask on here has anyone got one of these devices where, supposedly, you plug it in to the back of the TV,HDMI socket, and it gives you loads of subscription cannels FOC, including all the Sky channels.

I have a Chromecast which plugs into our TV's HDMI socket but access to subscription services ie Netflix is payable, definitely not free of charge. What you seem to be enquiring about is an illegal équivalent.

The ads do say that "loads of subscription cannels [ sic] FOC, including all the Sky channels.". It is mearly a means of adding access to channels, but not for free.

Streaming causes erosion of banks, morals and the superstructure of human £ife and the world will become flooded ‘ Video streaming services not only offer much more and better content but also give viewers a true choice. They can choose whatever they wish from millions of TV shows, movies, documentaries, and more. ‘ What with the banks running away with peoples life savings. Liquid gold indeed. The end is nigh. education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/runoff/‘

The ads do say that "loads of subscription cannels [ sic] FOC I wouldn't trust any company that couldn't be bothered to proofread their advertising.

That's most of them these days. Although, predictive text and not using spelling/grammar check apps may also play a part.

Who needs to waste money employing a proofreader when modern spelling and punctuation skills are so poor. Not many people would notice. I do because I learned English as a second language under a strict regime. If you didn't get it right you were held back until you did.
