We have three ads up just now for French property for sale. A lot of interest for more details from Brits, two viewings booked one is from a Canadian family coming over at the end of March and an American who has a builder coming up from Limoges tomorrow afternoon to view a run down farm. I can see the British market getting even smaller than it has been. The Brits that bought an old hotel from us during COVID are well on the way to finishing it but they are still having to jump through hoops over the visa. He does not have the issue but his wife who has a small income had to appeal her visa being rejected. His income is huge but the prefecture tried saying she had to have her own income. They have been married for 15 years. They had to get the Mayor involved.

They had to get the Mayor involved. The Mayor - or one of his friends - hasn't got a Hotel in the area has he ? Or does his wife run a Chambre d'hôte ?

They have a shortage of good accomodation in the summer, that's about all there is there other than food and drink.
