It was cheap and we are stil lbuying it but it had a Uranium mine in the Commune but its shut now. Not sure how deep you have to dig but the land might be of interest to Irainians or the Russians if they are running short of stock. I had no idea the Limousin had Urainiam mines the last one shut 2001. Might have to use a face mask if fitting a fosse.

Bessines sur Gartempe? We visited the uranium (inter-active) museum there a few years ago. Interesting visit.

Another happy customer and not brits
RE: To 'mysty' Mar 12 at 9:11 AM Good morning,
Thank you for your emails, we have received them in good order. We appreciate it that the water meter will be looked up, thank you for that.
We did indeed see on Google Maps that a row of ridge tiles was missing at the time, so that explains the rotten planks of the first floor. We appreciate that someone will take a look at those shifted roof tiles. If that is possible, would the roofer immediately take a look at the leaks from the corrugated iron roof? The most important thing for us is that the house is dry on the inside!
Good that the fibro ciment is being tested anyway, it's important to know! We assume that the inspector will now also look at all previously non-accessible areas (such as the grange).
We have no intention of selling any land, at most we would like to exchange it with neighbouring plots if that turns out to be possible, even if that means those plots are a bit smaller.
And yes, we would really like to take all the measurements this week, so we can put them in our computer and work out our plans in advance.
