We were getting a house ready for a viewing they were flying in from Canada. It was bramble land on a steep hill with terraces so a nightmare, we could see the roof of the toilet but could not get near it. About three hours later most of it was gone. You do not see many like this now. I will post a better picture tomorrow of the toilet paper roll holder

Three hours is a long time to wait if you are "busting".

Worse if you needed to go during the night or if it's raining, at least 100 meters from the house.

We discovered our outside "two-holer" lost in the undergrowth seven years after we bought the house...

I found a very nice ornate toilet roll holder at a boot fair in Kent in the mid 80s. It had come from one of the big train stations in London and commemorated King George V. The mind boggles at how many bottoms were exposed to that little piece of history.

Not sure we want to know what you get up to in the toilet.

I will post a better picture tomorrow of the toilet paper roll holder Could you post a photo of the house? Did the Canadian people buy it? They bought it but it was a bit confussing. There English was like my spelling and grammer. They were from Malta but live in Canada and had a really strong accent all our contact had been through Facebook so I assumed they would be speaking English or French. They arrived on time and I spent about an hour going around the property and land and they did not say anything particulary positive other than its a lot of land. They asked if I could leave the property open so they could measure and take a video of it. They origionaly wanted to send a deposit to hold the house or start the sales process but we prefer simple sales where its viewed then sold. As I left them after the viewing I said if you do not want the property just let me know its not an issue, they said they would contact me later in the day, no message that day so assumed they felt embarresed and had changed there minds. The following morning I get a message from them on FB saying they did not expect to change the ceilings so I sent one back saying its not a problem if they do not want to buy and enjoy the rest of your break here. They sent one back in seconds saying I did not understand them they want to buy and what do they need to do. They had flown to Paris rented a car drove to Aubusson in the Limousin which is not just a five minute drive, viewed the house had a walk around Aubusson then drove back to Paris and it was too late to send me a message that night. They offered the asking price and are buying it via docusign so no need to come back here for anything. I do not think money is an issue for them. There is no internal stairs in the house so they are going to have a stairs built into an extension at the side, do I know an architect ? yes. Pictures will all be changed in a couple of minutes.

@ jardiner It was a very quirky house surrounded by 1.5 hectares for just 38.500 euros, no neighbours but two minutes to the supermarket or six minutes to everything else. Hospital 10 minutes drive. All you can hear is birds chirping away and enough trees to keep you in firewood for life. The house

Handy for the Intermarche! Or if you need a new tyre, just next to intermarche and no google street view of the house as there is no flippin road.
