It's a little damp inside but been locked up for years as the owner was in the old age home waiting to die. The advert went up a few weeks ago but the viewing was last week, I offered the asking price and signed a contract to buy without seeing the inside. It was described as needing demolished but it is not that bad and was only 12000. It needs a new floor in one room and a good clear out, yes that is a car you can see driving past it's one of the roads into Tulle but it's set back from the road and has a huge garden and will be ideal for a local to buy. I have a load of pictures but not a lot of space on the forum to post them, gas central heating with a second unit they let out. The view from the front The floor needs some wood filler or a new concrete floor the master craftsmans brush pole test shows its not deep. The wallpaper and beding may need changed. If you click the pictures they get bigger and if you think these pics are bad you should see the house that had squatters for two years.

I always enjoy hearing about your work and really admire it, I’ve got a bit of damp in the bedroom and will have my work cut out just sorting that minor problem.

That looks another good buy, Mysty. I always enjoy reading about houses you buy and sell on - some of those you used to do needed so much work - good that you’re not climbing around on roofs nowadays.

A lot of the boards are probably savable the rot looks like its just in the one area but did not walk anywhere near it. The property is locked up again for at least two to three months until the paperwork is complete to buy the house so it can only get worse, its on the ground floor so if you go through the floor you only have about a 30cm drop.

That's a good position on the edge of a town. I have a load of pictures but not a lot of space on the forum to post them, Could you not host the photos on something like imageshack so they don't use up forum space? Used to be free but maybe you have to pay now.
