Has anyone experience of changing the supplier? I didn't know it was even possible. Thought there was just EDF. Are EDF like Orange and they supply the others?
I have the Hello Watt app and they have just advised me that we could save 334€ pa with Alpiq or Octopus? both of whom I have never heard. Hello Watt is quite useful to see info easily but I don't know if they are independent or linked with other companies that they may be promoting.

I changed over to Octopus in November 2023 .. they appear to be global. It was very easy and all is fine, simply we pay less for exactly what we had previously with EDF. I found out about changing from a member on here who started a thread about it ..

Thank you for the replies. I am going to look at it shortly. I did reply before but everything seemed slow so hope this is not going through 3 times!

Thanks for that comparator site Elsie, it confirms my choice of EDF Tempo HC/HP contract as the cheapest, providing one has alternative daytime heating and cooking for the 22 red days a year.

All the red and white days are gone already for this year.
