How is the pee pee control unit functioning are you back to no major defects? Getting back to work is a good sign. Thought you didn't require information ? First day with my jeans on yesterday. My lovely wife bought me a pack of "protections absorbantes Homme Niveau 2" so I shouldn't get any "dark blues" in my jeans . I am waiting for Friday at the surgeon's to see what he says , I think things are going well , but it's all new to me!

A good sign but don’t spoil it all by over working. Take it easy or you could cause damage. Thank you for your thoughts , I can't overwork , to easily tired after 5 weeks doing nothing . The grass cutting is just sitting in a slow moving tractor driving round the field , but I only do a couple of hours. I don't catch or shear the sheep ,just sort the wool , but that won't be for a couple of weeks yet.

That’s the problem with livestock, there is always something that needs doing around the farm. I’m sure you are like me and worry about stuff that needs doing. Mrs PE usually stops me doing too much and says “ luister naar je licham”. I dare say your good lady is watching out for you too so “luister naar haar ook”.

It sounds as though you’re already listening to good advice and making haste slowly.

But the sheep are our family PE , it won't be easy to stop watching over them.
I have lost a bit more "dutchness" these last 5 weeks , the long grass looks better than the cut lawn!
Zeg goede dag tegen je lieve vrouw.

Zeg goede dag tegen je lieve vrouw I have just Google translated and listened to the Dutch phrases being used - gosh the accent makes the words hard to decipher even whilst looking at the script. I'll stick to the romance languages - easier on my ear

As someone once said, Dutch is not so much a language as a throat infection.

A friend told me that spoken Dutch sounds like somebody being sick into a paper bag

As someone once said, Dutch is not so much a language as a throat infection. When they ( the cloggies) used to congratulate me on my Dutch, I'd say , it's not difficult , the Dutch speak it!
I have mellowed a bit since my Dutch period. But , but, it has always come in handy , there was quite often a Hollander organising logistics in foreign countries , then you could get things done quicker.

As someone once said, Dutch is not so much a language as a throat infection. That’s why so many Dutch people speak English so well!

As someone once said, Dutch is not so much a language as a throat infection. That’s why so many Dutch people speak English so well! One reason is because all the films on their TV is in English with subtitles ( or was when I lived there.) Also not many people outside of the Netherlands speaks Dutch!
