The Good Law Project are offering a bit of advice, there is a letter template available for amending to your own requirements, and links to the government website 'Money Claim Online' to get court assistance if no refund is offered to you.
Here is a link to access the template via registration
And here is a link with a bit more info
and here is a link for Money Claim Online
I have sent my letter to Expert Medicals today........lets see, its a bit of effort, but thats what these companies expect, thats how they get away with it.

Also remember if you used a Credit Card, you are covered by section 75, so could claim back via that.
I used a debit card, but was told I could lodge a chargeback with my bank, which I have done this morning, so I may get it back via that route before I need to raise a court case......

Could be worth doing both - after all you were self isolated for an extra 4 days due to their inability to provide the service you paid for.

Isnt that fraud of some sort? I'm not a tory MP wanting to make money from a bad situation .....
If I do end up filing a court case, I will be claiming for 4 extra days of isolation though.......

That only applies for single transactions over £100.

That only applies for single transactions over £100. Yes there is a minimum of £100 for Section 75, but not for chargeback, there is no limit on chargeback for Visa/Amex and a £10 minimum for Mastercard.

Remember "Rip off Britain" was an everyday phrase in the media? I'm sure there was also a consumer rights TV programme with that as its name. Nowadays, by and large, it just accepted that that's the way it is. Good luck with you're claim JD.
