P.S. Dont forget you also will need a test in france with a negative result, done within the 3 days before travelling to UK. You will need proof of this test to show at the border.

I found a list on the Government website, saw the Randox test. Also I found that iQ doctor are on the Government list.
I have one of these tests as they were provided by MrMOTM2's company. Trust Pilot reviews it at 4 Stars, however this is the company that OH had problems with, no one to contact etc to register a test. His company have quite a few of these tests that are going to waste.
So I wonder if I will be able to use their test for the PLF. We'll see next week

Ho limousinlady. Was your pre-departure test a lateral flow or PCR?

Ho limousinlady. Was your pre-departure test a lateral flow or PCR? Travelling all day yesterday, so didn't see your question. It was a PCR test. We just went to our local lab (no appointment necessary) and said we wanted a COVID test for travel. Answered their questions, gave over our Carte Vitales and had the test - no charge. Results arrived same evening but they did say that they could arrive overnight. We allowed 48 hours before travel, so were weren't on tenterhooks. The procedure at the port was straightforward if you had all your paperwork in order. There were not many in the queues but long delays because of incorrect paperwork. We got to the port at 3pm for a 5.30 crossing, hoping to get on an earlier one, but it was slow going because of the problems at the booking in point where paperwork was checked. It took an hour from arriving to having finally checked in. The French guy at checking in said that he was getting abuse from passengers all day. Randox Day 2 tests arrived in the UK delivered over the BH weekend ordered on Thursday. Just to do them this morning and find the drop box. Hopefully, the return trip to France by tunnel will be quicker check in. Anyone any experience?

Return is as hassle free as it ever was if you are vaccinated.
