We are in Pezenas for the weekend. We were passed by about 60 anti pass sanitaire manifestants. Many were holding up placards with liberté written on them. So I was finally able to do something I have wanted to do for the last few weeks. I held up my phone in the air with my pass sanitaire open and was shouting fraternité. I did make a few smile though my wife was a bit embarrassed. I think I made my point 😃👍

It's only a very small percentage of the population. If you get rid of the pass sanitaire and infection rates rocket then they will have to forfeit their liberty when another lock down is introduced. Very short sighted.

I was talking to my 89 year old aunt yesterday who lives north of Paris. She has always been proud to have been one of the first people fully vaccinated. She was telling me how her son is an active anti-vax protester who is always complaining about how he has lost his rights to live the life he wants to lead. She is very laid back about it but doesn’t seem to understand that being double vaccinated doesn’t give her 100% protection. He eats with her at least once every day. He’s always been selfish but this is one step too far.
