We have a bill from Laborizon Bretagne for 43.89 for PCR tests we had for return back to the UK in July, it was the 6 July when we had them, the day before the charge for tourists came into effect, is there a mistake here, or do companies like Laborizon make a charge anyway? I will call them on Monday. but just curious.

Asked this question at my local lab this week; no charge yet, freebie for everyone until sometime in October. Why should you be charged, I don’t understand, unless it is a try on?
Further checking reveals that charges for tourists came in on 7th July, apparently not before.
This is odd because a friend who is UK based had a PCR on Thursday and there was no charge as I said above.

The analysis may have been done on the 7th, they would have had to invoice CPAM on the 6th for it to be 100% prise en charge.
What is the invoice and analysis date?

You're a French resident, Timoth, Johnny isn't. But my friend and visitor is UK resident, not French resident. In which case, your friend should have been charged, had s/he been upfront with the lab.

You're a French resident, Timoth, Johnny isn't. But my friend and visitor is UK resident, not French resident. And from Johnny's post it has taken 2 months for the invoice to be raised. Time to sit back and wait perhaps?

We shall wait and see, exile and others. Dont mind paying it though. Tourists should npt get it free, or rather paid for by us French taxpayers.
