If it is like most American beers, I would rather scratch my eyes out with rose thorns. But who knows this may be the exception to the rule.

After reading the list of stuff they've added to give it flavour, (cherries, apricots, caramel) I thought "disgusting" and when I got to the $240 a bottle price I thought "totally bonkers".

I don't know when you last went to the US but 'craft beer' has taken over with thousands of small breweries now offering an incredible choice of beers which are a million times better than the fizzy lager that you get in Europe.

Yet an American I was chatting to on the ICE from Munich said that the Munich beer was the best in the world. I agreed with that as I would give a prize for a Munich brewed Paulana right now. So it is all a matter of personal taste.
