Bugger. I have also an Epson ecotank, grand piece of kit with a sod awful program to run it (IT twits are NOT engineers) I have to go around the houses to get a print from my Ipad to the printer. It must be me, not thinking like a twit IT worker. My daughter's printer has airprint and works with my Ipad extremely easily and logically with no extra software in between asking me to click all over the screen.

I recently bought an HP 6905 multifunction printer and it was easily setup completely on line. We had a friend from France staying with us last week and she wirelessly printed her travel documents from her iPad.
I looked at ink tank printers but concluded that they only make sense if you are printing enough to warrant the up front cost and that's quite a lot.

Must admit my Ecotank and I have had a couple of minor disputes, but I won on both occasions. I can switch things off That calms them down nicely

Just the annual health cover dossier justifies it's price, never mind nationality and driving licence paperwork. Not to mention the sheer convenience of never needing to dash on a 40km emergency round trip to buy cartridges. More to the point, the manufacturers claim that the initial fill will last for 10 years 'average' use. Even half of that and it's paid for itself.
