Honey roast chicken - another of Jamie Oliver's one pot recipes. It's my first time trying this one and I just hope it's as good as the Rosemary roast chicken. I made that again the other day and this time used haricots blancs (instead of butter beans which I can't find) and it was delicious.

Friday we ate at our favourite restaurant in Cancale, due to Thursday having been a holiday here of course, naturally "le pont" was made on Friday so the town was heaving with parking totally full by 11h00. Anyway, myself and a friend took the main course of a Seafood Platter, excellent as ever and our wives took grilled Sea Bass for their mains, which the owner, the lovely Mimia prepared for us at our table.

Does she know that you're a closet carnivore? Not something that is very easy to hide although I do my best on occasions...

We’re having salmon roulade with spinach and ricotta with roast potatoes, cauliflower and carrots, with chocolate tart and ice cream for dessert.
