According to anold mate of mine the benefits of Britexit are
‘Highest growth in the g7...avoiding huge tax increases for vehicles... best vaccination programme in europe...exports booming, in many cases to entirely new markets...seems to me brexit is doing ok, DESPITE the best efforts of your bezzie mates in brussels...or is it strasbourg this week. Still, at least ukraine is sorted now that monsewer macron has warned putin off, the rooskies must be brickin it...hahaha.’

GB or the UK does have/had the biggest gdp growth of the G7(2021) since the end the WW2 last year but it also had the biggest drop cause of covid a few years ago. That was because they handled it not for the economy but the people. It is a small plague island so they have to take drastic measures to protect the populace.
Brexit has not really affected the UK GDP no matter what immigrants tell you. When all these naysayers are dead they will be rolling in their urns or graves cause it was a good move for the island.

It takes a certain mentality to measure the quality of ones own life by the size of their GDP
Reminds me of a game that we played as lads who can piss the furthest.
These days it seems to be who can take the most….

High growth after the sharpest decline. If you fall down a 100 foot hole and climb back 75ft, you're still in a hole. The UK had the highest growth in one quarter. 5th highest when taken over 4 quarters. It has suffered the biggest contraction in gdp overall, -1.5%. You're friend is parroting Johnson. Top tip, when Johnson makes claims like these, pay a quick visit to a fact checking website. The man is an inveterate liar.

I actually think the "old man" will save britian and leave the continent to start speaking russian. Maybe the green island on the left also as I think he has ties there.
Which "fact checking" site do you recommend ? hum

I heard positive news. The Weatherspoon’s queue of doom had reappeared at the Horseshoe Inn at Crook. The Union and the country must be safe.

The full effects of Brexit haven't been felt yet due to the pandemic, perhaps by the end of the year a clearer picture will emerge. Whilst the Tories will no doubt crow about the huge 2021 GDP spike lets see what they say in a few months time when the NI and fuel increases hit people's pockets.
