For anyone that's interested, old rotten boards were removed, 22mm OSB fitted, flexible coll then Schlüter-DITRA, then coll again, then tiles........grouting tomorrow

Is there a flexible grout? Mine is cracking in the shower room. Not the wet section but the dry floor.

If its available in white, and a much smaller quantity. The affected area is only a little over one sq.metre. Thanks for the info.

New bathroom this visit, work in progress.....
Final pic this trip, didn't quite get it finished, but it looks a lot better than when we came out.........
Bathroom pretty much done now, a bit more touching up.....

There's always little touch up things to do. You just have to draw a line somewhere. We'll done.

There's always little touch up things to do. You just have to draw a line somewhere. We'll done. A lot of the recent work is the fiddly stuff, attention to detain and all that malarkey, you don't see it in a photo, but you do in reality close up, that takes time.........

No idea Mysty, the guy who I was helping said that was the right thing to use, underneath is an air gap and then earth, so maybe its more hard wearing?

I thought you could have given a definitive answer so checked out Google. That was even more confusing some say one is better than the other but neither like getting wet so still none the wiser. 😀

Just found a picture of how it looked when we bought it........The doorway you see has been closed and the door frame moved up a touch, for some bizarre reason the door exited straight onto the stairs at different stair levels, a touch iffy we thought
