The groupe Mulliez are taking the opportunity to expand their presence in the Russian market. Interesting to read the brands which are under the Association Familiale Mulliez: including Auchan, Flunch, Adeo, Leroy Merlin, Bricoman, Decathlon, Kiabi, and Pimkie. Apparently some of their workers in e.g. Poland and France are said to have been at least verbally attacked.

Well I am probably alone but I believe in Roman Abromovich and today's breaking news goes some way to show he made an effort to broker a deal for Ukraine with Russia, which has ended up with him allegedly being poisoned. www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60904676

No, you are not alone. I wondered way back if this was in his plan. He cannot be happy with all the trappings he enjoyed being taken away from him - indeed, I can easily see that he might have tried to dissuade the poo-tin from ever doing this in the first place.
I fear though that now the Poo-tin is in a dark corner and not trusting anyone, least of all his past circle of oligarchs. Many, if not all of them, must see a bleak future and surely must be considering a coup? The Poo-tin must see this coming.
I do not care who it is who will bring about a [eace deal. I just want it to happen.

I wouldn't trust any "peace deal" agreed with Putin. I would trust a well-placed bullet.
