Fantastic to see Boris showing the way once again for the UK to support Ukraine. Not sitting on his backside in Paris ringing to appease Putin in Moscow on a daily basis, not in Berlin pontificating about Gas, not in Brussels dithering. Actually turning up in Kiev & walking the walk in the streets. Europe are so weak on this once again. Well done Boris.

Is this the what made you laugh today thread.
He lies and robs the poor. His friends have fleeced the UK of millions. While Europe welcomed Ukrainiens the UK made it very difficult to get to safety.

I don't know about showing the way again but on this occasion the Brits and their Prime Minister are giving tremendous support to Ukraine - The problem is that the Boris Bashers will never admit that he is anything other than a joke and the millions of people that voted the Conservatives into power a mindless bunch of numbskulls. Especially on this Forum, god forbid that anyone would recognize anything positive from the UK let alone Boris Johnson making one of the few european constructive contributions to Zelensky and his people. Well done Boris +1

The Ukraine knows what the end game is now.
Eastern Ukraine will be Russian...
Russia gains some more land west-wards.
The rest of the world does not "physically" get involved..

I don't know why but the expression "fur coat a no knickers" springs to mind.

I’m hugely critical of our PM about very many things and hate the way our government has made things so difficult to welcome Ukrainians here, making kind people who have offered homes to Ukrainians and those who thought they had found refuge here wait for weeks to settle in together. But it was interesting to read: “In a Facebook post, Andriy Sybiha, deputy head of the Ukrainian president's office, said: "The UK is the leader in defence support for Ukraine. The leader in the anti-war coalition. The leader in sanctions against the Russian aggressor." “ I was surprised to see him walking along in Kiev, particularly looking no more bulky than normal - or are bullet-proof vests now wafer thin? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61052643

Everyone has already agreed on the outcome.. Why would a western leader go there if it was not prearranged and safe.

I assume we are ignoring the actions of Karl Nehammer in praising Boris for leading Europe.

From what I see, it's the British press doing all the trumpet blowing.

It seems a lot easier for Johnson to get into Ukraine than for a Ukrainian to get into England.

I think close scrutiny will also show that the EU have done so much more for the refugees. Let's face it, the UK isn't exactly renowned for it's treatment of refugees is it?

Electioneering, even though there are a couple of years to go. There are local elections in the UK soon though.
