My nail lady is Portuguese, she's been living in France since 8 years, now she's 55 years. She fears Le Pen will chuck us all out.
What will happen to the French economy if all us expats stop paying taxes, EDF, Orange, health care, supermarkets?
I'm not worried and I think Macron will win again

You need to stop thinking that France needs your money. They do not.

If France left the EU , it woud be the end of the EU , which is still quite possible and I think the reason that Putin has started his war .

Bear in mind if it does happen and the UK is your intended bolthole, make sure your documentation is in order or its off to the camps in Rwanda. That seriously is the UK government's latest proposal. At least the Nazis considered the lovely island of Madagascar for their unwanted. Mind you, Rwanda? Could have been worse, could have been Rotherham. Or Dewsbury or that other place Quote of the week : You ‘might be pleasantly surprised’ www-cdr.stanford.edu/intuition/Slough.html

Neither Rotherham nor Dewsbury would have the appeal that the nasty party seek. When judgement day arrives for the perpetrators and enablers of this scheme, I trust that a defence of " I was only obeying orders" will be rejected.

Do you mean the perpetrators who are encouraging illegal immigration into the UK and chucking public money down their throats to defend a right to stay which is granted far too easily?

Now it's no impots for the under 30's. It's true the French don't rely "solely" on us Brits but we are useful for the economy in general but nowhere near as much as the UK relies on immigrants working in the UK. Macron to win, or rather a Le Pen to lose in the final round as usual,

ats to defend a right to stay which is granted far too easily? That is what one expects to hear from an old white British supremisist who has never been a victim of anything. A lot of these people are running from war or poverty brought on by Mr White man who plundered there countries. Happy easter Sunday

Most are economic migrants coming to. Some come because there is no system of ID for whatever reason. You post was somewhat näive.

I unambiguously mean Conservative politicians and public and private sector employees who collaborate. Seeking asylum is not a crime. It's a human right.

Genuine asylum claims must be allowed but economic migration needs to be controlled by the receiving State. Most of those hiding in the dunes are most likely economic migrants or worse.
The deplorable situation of the Ukrainians seems to have been created by largely Labour voting civil servants.

In which case they'll fail in their request for political asylum and will be deported to whence they came. UK governments have trusted the electorate to cast their vote honestly for more than a century. How ironic that the most corrupt and disreputable government decides that we should now be judged in their image. Voter ID disenfranchises the poorer end of society. Naivety is to not recognise the real reason for that strategy.
